Champions are stickers! This generation needs more Ruth

Ruth 1:14 says

And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.

KJV

The word claves means- people who can stay on a project or a purpose and stick to it like a sticker or postage stamp,

without thinking about the consequences or adversities that may come along the way and without giving up so soon,

we call such people champions.

The national youth service corps anthem is an anthem that is made for champions, it goes this way;

“Youth obey the clarion call

Let us lift our nation high

Under the sun or in the rain

With dedication and selflessness

Nigeria is ours

Nigeria we serve.”

It is an anthem with deep meaning an anthem that steers towards taking the nation of Nigeria far no matter the circumstances or condition.

Learn to be a sticker in your business, marriage, church, job, projects, purpose and academics in the rain and in sunshine.

Always remember that after the clouds and the rain (negative circumstances) comes the sunshine. Stickers are faithful people and faithful people are going to be in the last day’s frontline of the army of God. The bible says that Moses was faithful in Numbers 12:7

My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.

KJV

God himself is faithful in 1st Corinthians 1:9

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

KJV

Psalm 36:5 says

Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

KJV

If our father, our maker is faithful how much more we people. Without being faithful you can never achieve anything here on earth we can never succeed.

It takes a faithful person to grow a business even when it seems as if that business is not growing. It is faith that makes a man see what ordinary persons cannot see.

Faith is like a third eye. An eye that only rugged champion have, the normal human eye sees something’s as impossible but the eye of faith sees things as possible.

The normal human eye saw our parents Abraham and Sarah as old and not medically fit to have children

but the eye of faith saw them as young and ready to have abundant children. Faith sees the impossible as possible.

On July 29th 1996 northern Nigeria military officers effected a coup against the then incumbent regime of general Aguiyi Ironsi (a southern igbo man from Nigeria).

He was arrested in government house Ibadan while he was preparing to address a meeting of traditional rulers in Nigeria.

His host, colonel Fajuyi was arrested and killed with him because he refused to grant the request of the northern coup makers that he should give up his visitor (Aguiyi Ironsi).

He (Fajuyi) opted to die with him rather than betray his guest and friend. And he died

Today he is celebrated annually as a champion and a residential hall in the University of Ife is named after him (Fajuyi hall).

Another Ruth sticker you may say, we need such men and women today. Jesus Christ, Fajuyi, Abraham Lincoln and Ruth were all stickers.

Don’t give up on any project, your best days are still ahead.
