Make Jesus Christ the centre of your life

A pastor was struggling to prepare his sermon and didn't want to be disturbed by his five year old daughter,

so he removed a map of the world from his study,

Tore it into pieces and gave it to her to assemble

with the promise that he would answer all her questions and play with her when she was done.

He knew she would never be able to fix it. To his amazement, in less than five minutes, she returned to him in his study

with the map in perfect shape, every continent and every country in its place.

The surprised father asked,

" Honey you don't know anything about geography, so how did you fix the world so easily and quickly?"

the five year old daughter smiled sweetly and replied,

"the picture of Jesus was at the back of the map and I knew that if I have Jesus in the right place, the whole world would be in perfect shape".

That was just the right inspiration he needed for his sermon.

He thanked his daughter and prepared a powerful sermon on the subject

"fix the world by placing Jesus at the right place".

place the Lord on his rightful place and your life and family will be in the right order.

Matthew 6 Vs 33 says

“But seek yeah first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you".

Then Solomon despite his wealth drew a conclusion:

"let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."

thus you must ask yourself questions like. “Who controls your time?" because he who controls your time is your God. It is so easy for anything/anyone to become your God. Your sleep your stomach/eating etc can be your God. Your feelings and resentment/bitterness etc can become your God. The fear of man or anxiety of people's opinion can become your God.

Watch it. How much time do you give to God and how many hours do you spend in front of your dressing mirror?

How much time do you spend reading novels, watching TV, making telephone calls, visiting and opening your email?

Remember: "thou shalt have no other God beside me".

Any other god is an idol and idols will lead you to a land of regret! Begin your day with God and end your day with God and you will never know shame. Receive grace to start now as you surrender.

The secret to a happy life is giving God the first part of your day,

the first priority to every decision and the first place in your heart.

Make him the centre of your life and family.
